The Senior Class play American Idle was an enjoyable event, the cast did a wonderful job and it made for another activity for our students to express their talents n the field of arts. As a community we should be very proud that we have provided this great auditorium that allows for such programs. Hope you did not forget to enter your vote for the school referendum that will assist the school to use the grant money to improve the school and make it safer. Glad to report that Paul Martin is on the mend at home from his recent Triple ByPass operation in Aug. I had a great visit with Gretchen Boardman as she also is recovering at. home. We wish Arnie Stoker a speedy recover after his recent fall and the breaking of his hip. It was my pleasure this past Sunday to serve on the Altar at the Congregational Church. The Willsboro United Methodist Church will be serving a Roast Turkey supper and all the fixings on Wed. Nov. 7th. We welcome both in house and take out service. I received word that the Whallonsburg Annual Turkey Dinner will not take place this year. Hopeful you saw the notice for Flu Shots that will be offered locally. They will be at the Town Hall on Oct 25th from1 to 4 p.m. and at the Essex Senior Center on Wed. Nov. 7 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. and also available at the Smith House and doctors offices. All reports indicate it is important for us to get the shot. Our sympathy is extended to the families of Grace Hayes Martin & Vera Cross, both passed away this past week.
