Unique new consignment shop

WARRENSBURG The consignment shop behind Seasons Bed and Breakfast in Warrensburg doesnt look like any other consignment shop youve seen. Seasons owner Eileen Frasier said she was cleaning out the barn out back and had the idea of creating an upscale consignment shop. I saw one in North Carolina, and I thought I have a lot of stuff, maybe I can start one, she said. She got the word out and people started bringing items in to sell. I have old things, contemporary things, and local artwork, she said. Frasier even went so far to bring in a specialist to help her design the shop. Seasons Consignment Shoppe has artwork by Lenore Smithy and other local artists. There are mobiles from Venezuela, a bar from Lake Placid complete with stuffed animals, old railroad lamps and hand painted Italian plates. Someone brought in some Roseville pieces, Frasier said. I have beautiful quilts here that are all hand sewn. Seasons Consignment Shoppe is open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. between now and Christmas. Weekday customers can call Frasier to make an appointment at 623-3832. Frasier is in the process of changing the decor for the holidays, and is hoping to add some authentic Tiffany lamps.
