Dinner a success

To the Times of Ti: The Port Henry Fire Department recently held its third annual harvest dinner fund raiser. We would to acknowledge and thank the following area businesses for their support again this year: Kings Inn, Walts Propane, Collins Bar, Fashion Corner, Celotti Wine & Spirits, Country Road Realty, International Paper, Harlands Funeral Home, Glens Falls National Bank, Wal-Mart, Barber-Cooke Agency, Nu-Way Laundry, Salerno & Son Plumbing & Heating, Mountain Lake Services, Macs Markets and Champ 2000. A special thanks to the Port Henry Council Knights of Columbus and Mr. Walt Yakalis for use of their facilities. To the band Lose Connection, and members George Potter, John Defelice, Alex Cheney and Chris Martin for donating their time once again to provide entertainment. Our sincere thanks to Donnie Murdock, Chip Perry Jr. and Dorothy Dot Valenti for their assistance in preparing the dinner. A special thank you to Becky Blaise, winner of the 50/50 raffle to benefit the Moriah Food Pantry for donating back her winnings to the food pantry. Our thanks to the Press Republican, Times of Ti, MCS Channel 17, WPTZ, WCAX, WOKO, St. Patricks and All Saints Churches for help in getting the word out. And finally to the community as a whole who came out to make the fund raiser a success. Tom Edwards
