ELIZABETHTOWN Denton Publications, which produces weekly newspapers including the Tri Lakes Today, has announced that its expanding its online presence. Denpubs.com provides its readers and advertisers the opportunity to access our resources online, complementing and adding value to our print versions. The benefit to online is that we can greatly expand the amount of detail we compile and make it available to anyone each week as well as preserve it for future reference, said Publisher Daniel Alexander.
The companys print publications are zoned to specific communities, while Denpubs.com features articles, photos and advertisements from all ten of its zoned publications. To put everything in print for every home, it would take a newspaper of more than two hundred pages.
Denpubs.com allows our customers access to far more information, giving them the opportunity to select and read whats important to them. Best of all, we provide it, just like our community newspapers, free of charge to the user, said Alexander.
Alexander explained that the website was part of an ongoing process to serve the region. Plans are currently under- way to allow customers even greater access to interact with publications and staff through Denpubs.com.
Growing our services and ex-panding into new technology, using new and evolving media, is just business as usual at Denton Publications. Change is inevitable and so we embrace and use it to the benefit of our customers, said Alexander.
Plant manager Tom Henecker said denpubs.com enhances the newspapers by allowing people in one distribution area access to stories in neighboring publications and neighboring communities.
Now you can go online and read everything. Each of our publications is available in its entirety in pdf format. Individual stories and photos from all of our newspapers are also available al la carte; it allows visitors a choice of how and where to get their local news, said Henecker.
