CV-Tec plans open house

MINEVILLE Champlain Valley Educational Services in Mineville will host open house along with a College & Agency Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 6-7:30 pm. The highlights of the evening are student works and student demonstrations including, manicures, haircuts, oil change, blood pressure screening, chainsaw sharpening and bluebird house construction. The Moriah Police Department will offer an opportunity for children to be fingerprinted. Modern School of Welding, North Country Community College, SUNY-Canton, Clinton County Community College, Cobleskill Community College, Barons Institute and Universal Technical Institute representatives will be available to discuss educational opportunities. Representatives from the Air Force, Army,and Navy will be present. VESID, Job Corps, One Work Source, ACAP, Department of Social Services, Aids Council, Planned Parenthood, High Peaks Hospice and Interlakes Health will have informational displays. The event is open to the public.
