PORT HENRY As a tribute to the town of Moriah's Bicentennial, the Moriah Parent-Teacher Association has undertaken a fundraiser that the entire town can be a part of and can enjoy for years to come. Working with a company in Minnesota, the PTO is in the process of producing a board game called Moriah-opoly. It will be played like its namesake with local properties on the board, money and a jail, as well as $200 for passing Go. Properties on the board will be sold as advertising to local businesses. Local banks can opt to have their name put on the money and individuals can place patron ads in the center of the board. PTA members will be visiting businesses soon to sell spaces. People interested in seeing an mock copy of the game can contact Brenda Baker at 546-7234 or Rose Rice at 546-3623. If there is no answer, leave a message.
