BURLINGTON Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy announced additional funding for Lake Champlain Research on Friday, Sept. 28, at the Fleming Museum on the University of Vermont campus. Leahy, along with UVM President Daniel Mark Fogel and Vermont Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCOR) Director Judith Van Houten, said that the funding is now available for UVM to combine high tech and scientific solutions for clean-up procedures in Lake Champlain.
Engineers and scientists from UVM and other Vermont and New York Colleges will team up as a result of the funding.
