North Country loses spiritual leader

He served on numerous local, state and national committees, including the Elks National Foundation Scholarship Committee.

Leading members of the national organization, on various occasions, referred to him as "a tremendous spiritual leader at all levels of Elkdom," and noted that he "brought distinction to the clergy and to the State of New York."

He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
