Townwide garage sale
The annual townwide garage sale will be held of Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 6 and 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors can pick up a map of Bolton at the chamber of commerce to show where all the sales are taking place. Sale locations are limited to Bolton residents.

Kids Fun Day
Rogers Memorial Park is the site for this years Kids Fun Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6. Face painting by Sue Ferdinand and a bouncy-bounce house will be the main attractions. All activities are free of charge

Fire company dance
The Bolton Fire Company will hold a dance at the firehouse on Saturday, Oct. 6. They will have a live band and plenty of food.

North Bolton tours
The Friends of the Bolton Free Library will sponsor a bus/walking tour of North Bolton on Sunday, Oct. 14. Tour guide is Ted Caldwell. The tour will include visits to Jacobi Park, Clay Meadows, Mormon Rock, the CCC Camp and Alma Farm. The Sagamore Resort has donated a bus and there will be approximately two miles of walking. There will be two tours. The morning tour will leave the library at 10 a.m. and return for lunch at noon. The afternoon tour will meet for lunch at noon andthe bus will leave at 1:30 p.m. and will return by 3:30 p.m. Lunch is catered by Lakeside Restaurant. Tickets are available at the library, 644-2233. Space is limited.

Variety Show
The annual Bolton Variety Show will be held on Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. in the Bolton Central School gym. This years theme is Country and Mountain music mixed with lots of laughs. For advance tickets contact Willie B MacDonald or purchase tickets at the door.

Seniors Christmas outing
The BoltonSeniors Club still has seats available for the Christmas outing on Dec. 1.

Transportation is by deluxe motor coach to the Albany ItalianClub for a turkey dinner then on to aholiday decorated mansion followed by a tour of the holiday lights display in Washington Park. A champaign party will then be on therelaxing ride home.Deadline to sign up is Oct. 30.
