I spent last weekend in Norwich visiting with my son, daughter-in-law and their four children. I had a wonderful time, spending quality time with them all, but a houseful of four active children and two adults is not a place for a Grandma to hang around for very long! Just sitting and watching all of the activity is tiring, but oh, so much fun! I do wish they lived closer.
We have a long weekend coming up when Columbus Day is celebrated. The fall foliage should be in full color and the weather sounds gorgeous. What more could a person possibly ask?
Be happy, be safe and remember that each day is Gods gift to you. Make it blossom and grow into a thing of beauty.
