The Hinesburg Brass Ensemble and accapella group In Accord were on hand to deliver a rousing performance at 3 p.m. in the sanctuary of the United Church of Hinesburg. After the concert, the community gathered for a reception at the "Art Gallery," where refreshments were served and jazz musician Dan Silverman provided a pleasant musical backdrop.
"Silverman is a well-known jazz artist," added Mead. "He's played in Burlington and we are pleased to have him with us this year."
Beginning at 6 p.m. at the Hinesburg Community School there was a Harvest Dinner, during which local foods were served. Eclectic musician John Penoyar and folk-rock/bluegrass musician Rebecca Padula provided the musical entertainment.
