Three members of the Middlebury College field hockey team were honored today when the NFHCA (National Field Hockey Coaches Association) announced its 2007 All-Region teams. Seniors Reid Berrien (Westport, Conn.) and Lacey Farrell (Greenwich, Conn.) were named to the first-team, while junior Tayrn Petrelli (Harrison, N.Y.) was a second-team honoree. The three are preparing for this weekends final four, taking place at Ursinus College. Berrien is a three-time All-Region and All-NESCAC selection at Middlebury. Farrell earns a spot on the All-Region and All-NESCAC teams for the second consecutive season. The senior midfielder has been a steady presence all season long for Middlebury, boasting a team-best 10 assists on the year. She has also scored four times for 18 points, placing her fourth on the team in scoring. Petrelli earns a spot on the All-Region second-team after doing the same on the All-NESCAC squad.
