Holiday Show scheduled for Dec. 1 at Tannery Pond

NORTH CREEK Our Town Theatre Groups annual Holiday Show takes the stage at Tannery Pond Community Center at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, and again at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2. The performances, featuring local students and entertainers, are free with the donation of non-perishable food items, personal care products, or new toys for the North Country Outreach Center. Co-produced by Mary Ellen Dowling and Colleen Doyle, the show will center around scenes presented by members of Ms. Doyles Childrens Theatre Workshops. Filomena Riviello will direct a holiday-themed scene from The Lion in Winter. The Millennium Chorale will sing. Saturdays performance will include bluegrass music by the Not Quittin Our Day Jobs group, while Sundays will feature John and Jackie Mallory. A Sing-Along With Santa will be part of both shows. The Holiday Show is a family-friendly celebration of the season and the community. Free soup will be served at 6:30 p.m. before the Saturday performance and 12:30 p.m. prior to the Sunday matinee.
