Tickets for Catalyst Theatre Hollydaze Tradition on sale

BURLINGTON The Best Christmas Pageant Ever! presented by CATALYST Theatre Company, is a classic poignant comedy from Barbara Robinson's book describing the efforts of a good hearted Mom to put on the annual church Christmas pageant despite having to cast the Herdmans -- the meanest, nastiest, most inventively awful kids in the whole history of the world! Watch the sparks fly as the Herdmans meet the Nativity in a head on collision! For all ages. Pageant has become a popular Hollydaze tradition drawing audiences from Montreal and Boston. Shows sold out the last two years, so folks are urged to purchase tickets when they go on sale this week. The CATALYST production is distinguished from all other holiday offerings in that the plot focuses on the 30 CHILD ACTORS who relish the experience of working in a professional atmosphere alongside 10 adult actors. As in past years, numerous siblings share the stage with parents working onstage, behind the scenes, and front of house making this a true family project. Our assistant stage manager, backstage crew person, and light console operator are middle and high school students with relationships to the show or cast. Veronica L__, Catalyst Producing Artistic Director (and Christmas baby herself), directs. Shows presented at Waterfront Theatre Black Box of the Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center, 60 College at Lake Streets. Shows run December 7 to 9 and 14 to 16 at 7:30 p.m.; and December 9,10,16,17 at 2 p.m. $10 general admission, tickets are available at 802-863-5966 or www.flynntix.org For more show information call 802-862-2287 or e-mail at catalyst@gmavt.net
