Neshobe Club names winners

Youth Deer Hunting Weekend was Nov. 3-4. On the afternoon of Sunday, a Youth Hunting Celebration was held at the Neshobe Sportsman Clubs clubhouse on Frog Hollow Road in Brandon. Over 142 youth hunters were registered for dozens of prizes. Club members were grateful for the help of several sponsors which allowed them to give away ten lifetime hunting licenses with a value of $240 each. Lifetime license winners and sponsors were: Ryan Owen Neshobe Sportsman Club Dillon Mahoney G.E. Employees Community Concerns Chandler Reed Omya, Inc. Tom Dunn Omya, Inc. Bailee Deforges Miner Construction, Inc. & Goodro Lumber Marissa Talman Tom Fiske Memorial Foundation Jeremy Rowe Mendon Fish & Game Club Joe Durfee Markowski Excavating Derek Root Denton & Son Waste Services Sarah Grimes Timberwolf & Melansons The raffle winners were: Ryan Sherman Gun Safe; Pete Smith muzzleloader; and Steve Quinn Gun cabinet Club members thanked all the sponsors; those that donated prizes and the numerous monetary contributors who made this event so successful and so much fun: The Safe Man, Coca Cola, LCI, Timberwolf, Great Outdoors, Melansons, Cabela, Thomas Dairy, Wal-Mart, Dicks Mobil, Center Rutland Sunoco, New England Outdoorsman, Dan McDonough & Chuck Mitchell, MDM, Kurt Kimball, Tom Cram and Blue Seal Feeds. The club also thanked Vermont Gov. Jim and First Lady Dorothy Douglas for their continued support and attendance at this event; also thanks were extended to Joel Flewelling from Vermont Fish and Wildlife. The club extended a special thank you to Dave Carroll, Todd and the rest of the staff at Daves Forest Dale Grocery and Deli for allowing the registration to take place in your store. Having registration during your business hours made it so much more convenient for our 142 kids and their families.
