Crown Point, CYC form partnership

CROWN POINT PRIDE of Ticonderoga Inc. and Connecting Youth and Communities (CYC) have announced a partnership with Crown Point Central School District. CYC is an arm of PRIDE of Ticonderoga, where community enrichment and involvement are a priority. CYC and Crown Point Central School District will host a community forum Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 5:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria for parents, youth, teachers and community members to learn more about CYC and its programs. There are numerous programs we are working on, such as community service-learning. This CYC program was developed to give local youth community service opportunities with the school and community at large; we are excited to be working with the Crown Point youth and community, said Kristi Mars, CYC director. The Nov. 27 meeting will include a question and answer session, a planning session and information about CYCs kick-off event in Crown Point, a PS2 Madden Football and Guitar Hero II Tournament that will be offered to the youth during their winter break. For more information contact Mars at 585-6366.
