Progress-not always better!
The lady who was injured while climbing Crane Moun tain on Oct. 25 shows us that progress isnt necessarily for the best. After her fall, it took her companion an hour to walk out and find a phone to call for help. Rescuers had to call a helicopter to airlift the woman down to a field and into a waiting ambulance. She spent four hours before getting off the mountain. When there were men in the fire tower, they would have had a two-way radio to call for help faster. Warrensburg
