Willsboro

Halloween is really enjoyed here in Willsboro. Lots or yard were decorated, The school childrens costume parade at school had many watchers, several of the business employees dressed up for the holiday and there were the usual trees decorated with toilet paper and several smashed pumpkins. All in all a fun holiday was enjoyed by many. The bad forest fires on the West Coast did touch some of the local families, one family that had to leave their home was Julie (Choate) & Tom Spierto, but all turned out well for them and they were able to return home. A few other families here had people that they knew that had close calls, but did not lose their home. Election time is upon us, hopeful many got out to vote. Several turned out for the Republican Meet your Candidate Night at the Sportsmans Diner and many thanks to Darren Darrah & Mark Bonfey they treated those in attendance to a nice array of finger foods. I had the pleasure of a good conversation with Tim Teft as he dropped in to the gathering.
