Talking to your doctor

Bring your notes. Doctors are not always trained to be good listeners or to communicate clearly, so it is up to the caregiver and patient to be sure their concerns are heard. How so you so this when appointments are shorter? To make the most of your appointment, keep a list or a diary of your fears, concerns and symptoms. Then when you arrive at an appointment with a list of bothersome symptoms, you are able to work together on the common goal of keeping your loved one symptom free.
