If you are interested in supporting our community by serving on the Stony Creek Free Library Board of Trustees, please stop in the library during business hours to pick up an application. Library hours are Monday and Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 1 to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Any questions, please call 696-5911. The transfer station and recycling center is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Van available
A van is available the first Wednesday and the third Monday of the month for Stony Creek residents ovcer 60 to go to appointments and do your shopping. Contact Anita Braman at 696-2397 for more information. Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts
Local scouts have announced that on Saturday, Nov. 17 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. there will be a food pantry collection at the Stony Creek four corners and a roadside clean up and a collection for money for Christmas cookie ingredients to be made by the Stony Creek Youth and delivered to the elderly before Christmas.
