QuickBooks workshop coming to SUNY Plattsburgh

PLATTSBURGH A QuickBooks Advanced Skills class will be held to help entrepreneurs learn how to better manage their businesses. The class will be held Monday, Nov. 12, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., in the Peterson Accounting Lab located in Redcay Hall, at the School of Business and Economics on the State University of New York at Plattsburgh campus. The workshop will be presented by Molly LaMountain, a Certified QuickBooks Pro advisor and staff member of Abbott, Frenyea, Russell and Coffey PC (AFRC), certified public accountants. The workshop will feature information on how QuickBooks software can help entrepreneurs manage invoicing, accounts payable, payroll, inventory and more. The fee for the workshop is $35. Pre-registration may be arranged by contacting the NYS Small Business Development Center at 564-2042. The workshop is are sponsored by the NYS Small Business Development Center at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh and AFRC.
