SARANAC LAKE North Country Community Colleges Director of Athletics, Heather Conger, completed the 38th ING New York City Marathon held on Sunday, Nov. 4. Out of 99,000 world-wide applicants who were narrowed down to this years field of 39,000 runners, Conger finished her Marathon in 4 hours, 7 minutes, and 25 seconds, or statistically in 13,950th place. She finished in 2,855th place of the 12,000 female runners. A recent Womens winner, Paula Radcliffe, took this years first place with a finishing time of 2:23:09.
