Doris DeGroat and Mildred Prouty were taken to Glens Falls Hospital by ambulance. Amy Dunkley Cleveland had surgery in Albany Medical Hospital and is home and doing good. Shasti Conlon spent Sunday with her father, Fabiann Conlon and visited many friends and family at church. Myrtle Rist enjoyed bringing dinner to share with her mother, Ona Dunkley, on Sunday. Ona says she has been happy to be making so many biscuits. Ona is doing better. Rob Russell is very sore but OK after his team of horses got spooked somehow and ran away with the wagon, running over Rob. They sideswiped his truck before running to Jack and Karen Prouty's and through the door, moving the wall 8 inches. Karen was sewing and said it sounded like thunder before the crash. The Men's Breakfast at the Sodom Community Church on Saturday went good and the ladies enjoyed serving the men. Fun time. Rob Cropsey visited Earl Allen on Saturday and had a good visit. Leon and Sue Prouty vacationed in England to visit daughter, Jennifer. We are saddened to hear about the tragic death of Lance Gregson. His mother Carol, taught at Johnsburg Central School for many years. Please children, always wash your hands for several minutes. The virus that is going through our nation is close, now with cases in North Warren and Warrensburg Schools. So many of us still miss eating at White Pine Diner and now Casey's North and Copperfield have closed. We hope someone will be able to open them soon. On Nov. 17 there will be a scrapbooking gathering at Kathy Allen's in Johnsburg at about 11 am. Bring your pictures and crop away. Getting ready for the busy holidays. Take time to enjoy and remember the reasons for the season. So many things to be thankful for. Sodom Community Church will have their Thanksgiving feast after church on Nov. 18.The Christmas adult choir will practice after the meal.
