SARANAC LAKE Twelve Angry Men, a classic play that examines the American melting pot and our judicial system, will open November 9 at 7:30 p.m. at Pendragon Theatre. Playwright Reginald Rose skillfully pits twelve diverse people, an accusation and one man's belief in "reasonable doubt." All have the same task. All have to coexist in one room. They wrestle with their responsibility to each other, themselves and the system. On a sweltering summer evening, the jury room erupts into a powerful debate which ultimately forces each man to face himself. Twelve Angry Men is a staple of many school curriculums. Pendragon's production has garnered a lot of interest and will tour across the region. School audiences will be afforded the same seating opportunities. Addtional performances as of this writing, are scheduled for: Nov. 10, 16, 17, Dec. 7,8, Jan. 4, 5 and Feb 9 at 7:30 p.m. Matinees (2 p.m.) are scheduled for: Sunday, Nov. 11 and Jan. 6th.
