Adirondack singer, songwriter Peggy Lynn will perform her program of original songs, "Changing Adirondack Seasons" on Friday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Stony Creek Town Hall, 52 Hadley Road. Peggy has been referred to as "the voice of the mountains" and has been recognized for her soulful songwriting and extraordinary vocal versatility. The program is free and open to the public. If you are interested in serving on the Stony Creek Free Library Board of Trustees, please stop in the library during business hours to pick up an application. The transfer station and recycling center is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Van available
A van is available the first Wednesday and the third Monday of the month for Stony Creek residents over 60 to go to appointments and do some shopping. Contact Anita Braman at 696-2397 for more information.
