Putting on the final touches

INDIAN LAKE Putting the finishing touches on holiday pole top banners is one of the projects under way in preparation for the Indian Lake 10th Annual Country Christmas Tour, (CCT) Friday, Nov. 23 and Saturday, Nov. 24. The CCT Steering Committee creates and coordinates numerous other activities that help promote a holiday spirit throughout the Town during the CCT. The Steering Committee is also putting finishing touches on two Childrens Holiday Workshops. While parents shop for holiday gifts, their youngsters are invited to participate in fun hands-on workshops. Due to increased workshop attendance each year, CCT instructors need community volunteers to assist them with the youngsters as they create their unique holiday treasures. Volunteers are needed for two hours maximum for either the Buddy Basket workshop, Friday, Nov. 23, 11 a.m. to noon, at Martys Chili Nights Restaurant or the Country Christmas Crafts for Kids workshop, Saturday, Nov. 24, 10 a.m. until noon, at the Indian Lake School. If you are interested in assisting workshop instructors with the youngsters, please contact Nancy Harding, CCT Workshop Coordinator, at 518-648-0251.
