Happy Sweet 15, ACTR!

The following is a list of events and activities planned by ACTR to celebrate its 15th anniversary. Press releases will be submitted during the month covering topics such as ACTR's No Idle Policy and Biodiesel Commitment, the Volunteer Driver program, public transportation and climate change, as well as the future of public transportation in Addison County. Frequent Rider Card Program Launch, Nov. 1: Frequent Rider Cards available from bus drivers. Cards can be marked by drivers on all ACTR Shuttle Bus, Saturday Burlington Link or The Rutland Connector. 10 rides completes the card. Completed cards can be turned in for a free tote bag or travel mug. Pick up tote bags at: The Vermont Book Shop Pick up travel mugs at: 3 Squares Caf_n Vergennes, Bristol Bakery & Caf_n Bristol, and Carols Hungry Mind Caf_n Middlebury. Step it Up with ACTR Saturday, Nov. 3: Meet at Merchants Row (diner side) at 12:45 p..m to take the free ACTR Snow Bowl Shuttle to Riptons Spirit in Nature Trails; be picked up at the trails at 2:50 to be returned to downtown Middlebury for Step it Up toast to Climate Action leaders. ACTR Exhibit through Nov. 30: National Bank of Middlebury on Main Street in downtown Middlebury is hosting an educational display on ACTR. American Flatbread in Middlebury will host a Benefit Bake. For every flatbread sold (even takeout) American Flatbread will donate $4 to ACTR.
