Elizabethtown-Lewis Girl Scouts deserve kudos

To the editor: The communities of Elizabethtown and Lewis are indeed fortunate to have involved leaders and enthusiastic members of the Girl Scouts Junior Scout Troop # 86 and Brownie Troop # 212. On a recent Sunday afternoon more than a dozen members of these troops, along with families and friends, came to the Lewis Cemetery and did a much-needed fall cleanup. The members were all very eager to do a good job, exactly as directed and showed a deep respect for the work that they were doing. We would like to give special recognition with a great big Thank You to Junior Scouts: Cora Adams, Rheanon Martin and Jazmin Wright and Brownie Scouts: Elizabeth Bazemore, Montana Colgrove, Samantha Griffin, Kayla Helsel, Kaitlyn Lindsey, Paige and Annie Mullen and Emmalee Turner. Thank you, also, to all the parents and families who assisted the girls. Nona Duntley
