Great job on Fun Run

To the editor: I am writing to express my gratitude to the students, families, and the Chazy community for their efforts during the 2007 Asset Fun Run. There were many individuals and families who attended and volunteered their time to make this event a great success in their community. The event was organized and hosted by the Chazy Girl Scouts Troop 25 and Eastern Adirondack Health Care Network. The Asset Fun Run was held at the Chazy Recreational Park on Saturday April 21, 2007. This walk/run was created to bring awareness of The Search Institutes 40 Developmental Assets to the Chazy community. Individuals and families registered to walk a mile and learn about the different assets and how they can enhance these assets in their lives. Each person was asked to donate $1 for the Chazy Senior Housing Fund and one (1) non-perishable food item for JCEO. EAHCN would like to give a special thanks to the following people for their efforts in organizing and promoting the event: Chazy Girl Scouts Troop 25 and Troop Leader Lisa Panetta; Tom Bull; Burger King; Michael Cahoon and the Chazy Volunteer Fire Department; Ceragraphics; Chazy Orchard; Lauren Colver; Duprey Feed; Freihoffers; Giroux's Poultry; Kinney Drug; Armand Langevin; Polly McFarlin; Morrisonville Septic Service; Christina Oshier; Parker Chevrolet; Pizza Hut; Price Chopper; Jeremy Reynolds; Riley Ford; Stewarts Shops; The Chazy Homestead Restaurant; The Garnot Family and Hairstyles Unlimited; Corey Thompson; Sue Toohill; Wal-Mart; and Woodworks.
