Caitlin Gadhue of Bristol is a full-time student teacher with the Hinesburg Elementary School in Hinesburg this semester. Gadhue is enrolled in the elementary education program at Champlain College located in Burlington. Gadhue works alongside a teacher in a first- and second-grade class. Student teaching placements help the college's elementary education students develop and implement lessons in the teaching environment through interaction with children and solo teaching periods.
