Ti Girl Scouts show their moves

TICONDEROGA The third annual Favorite Fella Dance was held on Friday, Feb. 9, by Ticonderoga Girl Scouts. Approximately 36 girls and their favorite fella danced the evening away at the United Methodist Church. This evening provided the girls an opportunity to spend some quality time with their favorite fella. The Ticonderoga Area Girl Scouts would like to take this opportunity to thank Mike Vilardo for providing us with some wonderful music and the Methodist Church for allowing us to use their hall, said Debbie Barber, scout service team chairwoman. Without their support this event would not have been made possible. The area would also like to give a very special thank you to Ann and Lisa Westervelt for organizing such a wonderful event. The girls truly had a wonderful time. Anyone wishing to join Girl Scouts or to volunteer may contact Barber at 585-6876. The Ticonderoga Area Girl Scouts have been keeping themselves busy.
