The Common Man to visit the Hancock House

TICONDEROGA Roger Fulton has embarked upon The Common Man Tour 2007, the name for his voyage of more than 300 miles by canoe to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the French and Indian War. His travels will take him up the Hudson River to Lake George and Lake Champlain along the historic waterways of New York, with several stops along the way. The Ticonderoga Historical Society will host Roger Fulton at the Hancock House on Friday evening, July 13 at 7 p.m. to present his free public program on the French and Indian War. Dressed in 1750s garb, Fulton will discuss the basics of the war from who was fighting and why, to the major battles, the armaments and the methods of travel and attack.
