TUPPER LAKE The community of Tupper Lake has plenty of local talent to celebrate.
A one day celebration is planned for Saturday, July 21 all along Park Street. The third annual Celebrate Tupper Lake Day features sidewalk sales and live bands, face painting, and food concessions. Local artist and craft persons will display their creations and children of all ages will be entertained by all the various doings.
Its good music, good times, to celebrate all the good things happening in Tupper Lake, said Event Coordinator Randy Jones.
The day kicks off at 10 a.m., and runs through 6 p.m. We have a lot of good, local talent we're trying to highlight.
Live bands perform all day long on the main stage, located just off Park Street. Performers include Celtic musicians Inisheer from 10 a.m.-noon, 70s music with Reflections from noon-4 p.m., spiritual rock with Howie Campbell from 4-5 p.m. and Jamie Savage and Celia Evans closing the day out from 5-6 p.m.
There will also be other musicians performing along the street near area businesses. Local author David Gardener will sign books and offer a juggling demonstration.
Cabin Fever Florals and Random Acts of Art will host an artist tent outside, while David Saulpaugh & Sons do music and magic.
Jones added that there were plenty of food vendors, and face painting for youth.
Any artist interested in purchasing a 10 x 19 spot to vend crafts or products are welcome to register by calling Jones at 359-2005, or emailing
