Willsboro News

Great news this past week, as we learned that the drug store will remain in Willsboro. Many thanks to Mr. Bowen for stepping up to fill this great service. Now as the locals we need to support this effort with our business. A stop at the Smith House this week showed some very impressive building upgrades. The new lay out gives the patient more privacy right from the time of intake. They are always finding ways to provide better service. Also learned that Shannon McMeekin (our P.A.) and Mike welcomed their new born son Patrick Raymond this past week, congratulations. I had the pleasure to be a guest story teller for the 1st and 2nd grade students at our local school on the 100th day of school for this year. It was a real joy for me to share how schools have changed over 100 years in our community. Another pleasure for me was when my Methodist church family surprised me this past Sunday with a time of appreciation for 50 plus years of volunteer service. It is a great pleasure to serve the Lord, and know that your efforts are appreciated, so a big thanks to my church family. Birthday greetings: Nicholas Ball Feb. 9, Dillon Spooner Feb. 10, Cody Sayward Feb. 11, Dian Ahrent Feb. 11, Mary Sue Arnold Feb. 13, Jerry Lynn Jaquish Feb. 16, Nancy Huestis Feb. 18, Jean Leonessa Feb. 18. Happy Anniversary greetings to Sherry and Junior Mitchell Feb. 14, Walt and Linda Morgan Feb. 14.
