Save-a-Lot offers Tupper Lake shoppers the best for less

TUPPER LAKE Discerning shoppers looking for a deal need look no further than Save-A-Lot in Tupper Lake. The store is a limited variety store, carrying a selection of groceries, dairy, frozen, bakery items, non-foods and beer. Owner Jeffrey Proulx said an experienced staff from the Tupper Lake area helps shoppers get the best produce and meat available for affordable prices. Judy Shumway brings over 20 years of experience to the running of the produce department, while store manager Pat Klouse has over 35 years experience running grocery stores. Proulx added that USDA Choice fresh meat was cut in the store. Two local meat cutters with over 50 years experience run the meat room: Glenn Decheine and Gerry Peets. The business has been well-received by the community, and continues to grow weekly. Shoppers enjoy the stores roomy atmosphere, with wide aisles for easy navigation.
