NORTH CREEK The much anticipated new triple chairlift at Little Gore will open Friday, Dec. 21 with a ribbon cutting at 3:30 p.m. Officially called "Village Chair" the lift will return skiing to Ski Bowl Park and add snowboarding to the historic recreational venue. The Grand Opening will include a welcome from Gore General Manager Mike Pratt, acknowledgements, a ribbon cutting ceremony, and then fun skiing and snowboarding available until 9 p.m. The terrain on "Village Slope" features a green-circle family-friendly slope of approximately 150' vertical, as well as a terrain park with half-pipe. The new skiing and snowboarding opportunities at the North Creek Ski Bowl will compliment the tubing park already there, and strengthen Gore Mountain's appeal as a complete winter recreation destination, Gore spokesperson Emily Stanton said.
