Changes in the town hall will occur following the official swearing in ceremony for newly elected officials at 10 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2008. Town Supervisor-elect, Kathy Simmes, sends season greetings to all with good wishes for the new year. Long time Assistant Clerk Pat Steele, will move up to town clerk and Penny Cleveland will fill the position of assistant clerk. There will be a thank you party at the Bolton Conservation Park building from 2 to 4 in the afternoon for anyone who would like to attend and visit. Please bring an appetizer to share. On Sunday, Dec. 23, the children and teens of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Churchwill present the Christmas Pageant during 10:45 a.m. Mass. After Mass all parishioners and community friends are invited to a Christmas Social in the Church Rectory. For Christmas, Blessed Sacrament will celebrate Vigil Mass at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 24. On Christmas Day, Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Mohican Street in Lake George. First Baptist services

Bolton Central will be closed for Christmas Recess from Dec. 22 through Jan. 1. Regular class schedule will resume on Jan. 2. Thrift Shop closes
The Thrift Shop at the St. Sacrement Church has closed for the season. No more donations will be accepted this year. The shop will re-open in the Spring of 2008. Bolton Free Library
Did you know...besides books, the Bolton Free Library loans magazines for four days, DVDs and videos overnight, and books on CD and books on tape for two weeks. Almost anything that the library doesn't have can be borrowed from one of the many libraries in the Southern Adirondack Library System and the Mohawk Valley Library System.
