Second Annual Wallingford Holiday Historic House Tour

WALLINGFORD The Wallingford Merchant's Association organized and hosted another very successful historic house tour. There were 6 homes on the tour, 17 village buildings and businesses decked out for the holiday season, and open for shopping and dining. Event participants enjoyed strolling carolers throughout the village, Santa's visit to the children at the library, children's activities and storybook readings, ongoing horse drawn hay rides, festive entertainment, demonstrations, a free shuttle to the shops and house tour, and refreshments ~ Truly makings for a memorable evening. There were 92 tickets sold, raising $850 for the Gilbert Hart Library. This year's new feature, was a chance to win a fabulous Wallingford Merchant's Association gift basket worth over $600. The winner was won by Joan Kelly of Wallingford.
