Willsboro

Christmas Season is such a festive time of the year. So exciting to see all the outdoor decorations that keep springing up each day. The Station Road houses really get into the use of lights and makes a very impressive view as once comes into town after dark. Stopping in at the Willsboro Pharmacy is impressive at the wonderful gifts available for the holiday. Nice that the Paine Library provides a place for local and area artist can make their creations available for the holiday season. Hopeful that you noticed the Willsboro Heritage 2008 calendars are now on sale around at area businesses. Sorry to learn that Phil Lawrence was recently taken to the Plattsburgh Hospital. Also learned Bob Bigelow suffered a stroke and is presently in the Fletcher Allen Hospital. We wish them well and hope they get to return home soon. Sympathy is extended to the families of Raymond Jerdo that passed away this past week after a long illness. We extend the same to the family of Charlie Mero who passed away this past week and his funeral will be here in Willsboro on Sat. Dec. 15 at the Catholic Church. Our sympathy to Stephanie and Steven Lobdell upon the sudden death of her brother. I received a surprise telephone call from Martha Clark (Stoker) a former student at our local school... She is doing well and had a desire to catch up on people she knew here in Willsboro. I always welcome local news things so give me a call if you have something to share. Birthday Greetings to Wendy Ball 12/21, Alice Wand 12/22, Lucas Strong 12/24, Rhonda Belzile 12/24.
