December News from the Town of Johnsburg Library

NORTH CREEK The Town of Johnsburg Library would like to invite you to check out some of our latest books. Some new fiction books include Double Cross by James Patterson, Stone Cold by David Baldacci, The Choice by Nicholas Sparks, and The Darkest Evening of the Year by Dean Koontz. Cant Buy Me Love by Jonathan Gould and Legacy of Ashes: The History of the CIA by Tim Weiner are available in the non-fiction category. There are many DVDs to choose from, including Waitress and The Namesake. Our library continues to sponsor wonderful programs that are available to the community. Helene Goodmans clay workshop was well attended with 16 students making beautiful ornaments. Sylvia Markson and the Magic Trunk will be performing at Tannery Pond on Friday, December 28. She is a ventriloquist. This program is funded by the Charles Wood Foundation. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. Todd Cunningham will present a timely program entitled Essential Oils for the Cold and Flu Season on Saturday, Jan. 5, at 2 p.m. in the library. Essential Oils support mental, emotional, and physical health and wellness. The library is pleased to report that a wireless antenna has been installed for your computer needs. As we close out 2007, we are grateful for the positive energy and creativity in our weekly childrens story hour, the readily available access to many wonderful books and movies, the addition of improved lighting and air conditioning for the comfort of our many patrons, and the continuing support of our community and Town Board. We extend holiday wishes to all and look forward to an exciting New Year!
