Moriah appreciates train

To the Times of Ti: On behalf of the town of Moriah town board, I would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Canadian Pacific Railways for once again sharing the Christmas Train and the $1,000 donation for our community! The entertainment was fantastic along with the beautifully decorated train with Santa aboard. This is the fourth year that the train has stopped in Port Henry and the food pantry has benefited greatly from this act of generosity. Also, our thanks to the volunteers that donate their time to the pantry, the Mineville/Witherbee, Moriah and Port Henry fire departments, Moriah Ambulance Squad, Moriah Police Department, Essex County Sheriffs Department, New York State Police, town of Moriah employees, Moriah Central School, Kubricky Construction and the many residents of the town of Moriah that took the time to make this event a night to remember. Special thanks to the people of the town of Moriah that take the time and sacrifice to help out those in need by donating to the food pantry throughout the year. Merry Christmas! Thomas R. Scozzafava
Supervisor,
Town of Moriah
