Emergency squad, MLH appreciated

To the Times of Ti: On Sept. 22nd I suffered a heart attack at my home. I wish to thank the emergency squad for their quick response. I thank God for them and that we have Moses-Ludington Hospital here. Everyone in the ER was so kind and I thank them all for the great care I received. The doctors in ER at Fletcher Allen said treatment that I received at Moses-Ludington was the same treatment that I would have received had I been at Fletcher Allen. I would also like to thank Dr. McKeever for his kindness and care in the ER and for riding in the ambulance to Fletcher Allen with me. After being discharged from Fletcher Allen I was admitted to Moses-Ludington with shingles. Again I thank God we have our hospital, the care I received was excellent, all the nurses were efficient and kind. I hope the people of Ticonderoga and surrounding areas realize how fortunate we are to have our emergency squad and our local hospital. Last but not least, I want to thank my husband and three daughters for their daily trips to Burlington for nine days and the local hospital for three weeks. Joyce Mjaatvedt
