Bristol police investigate stolen property

According to a news release by Bristol Police Chief Kevin E. Gibbs, the Bristol Police Department is investigating a number of thefts from automobiles that occurred on the evening of Sept. 6 in the downtown area. On Nov. 9, the department was contacted by South Burlington Police officials who said they had recovered property belonging to Bristol victims. Some of the items, suspected to be from Bristol thefts, have not yet been reported stolen, according to Gibbs. If you had your vehicle broken into, or discovered items missing on or around Sept. 6, please contact Bristol Police at 453-2533 as soon as possible with a description of the property.
