Amazing kindness

To the Times of Ti: On Oct. 31 my son, Lance Gregson, fell to his death from the four-story scaffolding at a home in Lake George where he was working. He was 44, the youngest of my seven children. The kindness and expressions of sympathy that we have received from such an amazing array of friends throughout the Adirondacks and beyond, has been such that I need to express my sincere gratitude. The crowd at Lances memorial service was so large that we are unable to greet everyone, and not all were able to find and sign the guest books. I am proud to think that Lance made such an impression in the lives of so many people, and I was glad to see them all there for him. My whole family is overwhelmed with the love and support that we have received. Also, there have been cards signed with unfamiliar names, and some without return addresses, so I am asking that you print this letter to express our gratitude. I want to thank everyone so very much for their gracious help and thoughtfulness. When I think of Lance, I will especially remember the caring and affection of all his friends. Carol Gregson and the Gregson Family,
