The Judith L. Richards Memorial Annual Race hosted recently at Devil's Bowl Speedway raised over $10,000 to benefit the Rutland Area Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice.
The benefit race was started in memory of Judith L. Richards, co-founder of Champlain Valley Racing Association and Devil's Bowl Speedway. The event has raised over $50,000 in the past five years.
"We are truly grateful for the generosity of the Richards family and the staff and drivers of Champlain Valley Racing Association," says Ron Cioffi, Executive Director of the Rutland Area Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice. "This wonderful event has supported our work and mission in countless ways and helped to ensure that home care, hospice and community health programs are available to all who need them."
