High Peaks Hospice moves in Port Henry

PORT HENRY The Essex County office of High Peaks Hospice has again moved.

Aug. 6 the High Peaks Hospices Port Henry office moved but didnt go very far. It went from first floor office space at 4314 Main St., which it had outgrown to more spacious quarters on the second floor of 4322 Main St. in an adjacent building.

In the past year the staff of the Port Henry office has grown due to a significant increase in census.

We are looking forward to continue expanding and extending the mission of High Peaks Hospice in Essex County, stated Executive Director Jan Demers. We can see Lake Champlain, the Green Mountains and the Adirondack High Peaks from the second floor of our new Port Henry office. That scenic beauty and serenity reflects the peace and comfort that we hope to bring into each home we visit.

High Peaks Hospice has provided specialized, compassionate end of life services to over 4,000 patients and their families for over 20 years.

People can visit the new office at 4322 Main St., Port Henry. For more information or to volunteer call 546-9850 or go online at www.highpeakshospice.com .
