In our community death, particularly that of a child, is not a detached event. We all have connections. My daughter, Hannah, is a year older than Philip Frazier and is in class with his brother, Tyler. My neighbors son had been skateboarding with Philip a few days before the fire.
When youngsters gathered this past week, they all talked about life and death something they werent doing a few days before.
The tragedy has been tough on Ticonderoga and its children. Fortunately, things were made a bit easier by the actions of local school officials.
