Grobel has known Ruth for a long time, and practiced her craft in the old barn before it was restored.
I remember working here when it was just me and the chipmunks, she said. Grobel makes beads of clay and mixes them up in woven and paper necklaces, using metal and other materials in her jewelry.
Krebs is a well known local painter, with many recognizable landscapes to her credit. She teaches art at the Old Stone Schoolhouse, in Lake George, and at Queensbury High School.
Touba creates jewelry as well, and Gray is a textile artist who creates wearable art.
Art in the Barn is located at 999 Wall Street, Diamond Point, off Coolidge Avenue. Call 668-2289 for more information.
