A correction
In last weeks edition of the Rutland Tribune I reported that Corey Robinson threw an interception in the closing seconds of the Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl that set up New Hampshires winning field goal. That was wrong. Sam Reynolds threw the interception in question.

Coed softball
The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 55 based in Brandon is hosting a one pitch, coed softball tournament the weekend of Sept. 15- 16. The cost of the tournament is $125 with all the profits going to benefit our troops and local veterans. It is going to be a double elimination format, and we are limiting it to the first eight teams to sign up. The tournament will receive full coverage in the Rutland Tribune, including pictures of the top two teams. So if you enjoy playing softball, and would like to help out our troops and veterans get a team together and call Fred at 247 - 6722. But dont delay because once eight teams sign up that will be it. So hurry and call today.
