Mark your calendars for the upcoming Battle of Plattsburgh Commemoration

Music is always one of the event highlights. It starts on Tuesday night with Rusty Jacobs and the Woods Tea Company. Wednesday night the Adirondack Brass will play in the Old Base Chapel. Friday evening at City Hall and later at the Macdonough Monument Enter the Haggis will perform. During Haggis intermission, a Celtic dance group will entertain spectators. The U.S. Navy Band Northeast will follow. Saturdays parade music highlights include the U.S. Navy Band Northeast, Her Majestys Royal Marine Band, from Cobourg, Ontario, and the RCMP Bagpipers, the Spirit of Scotland. Following the parade over 150 band musicians will mass to perform an inspiring retreat program that will include the U.S., Canadian, and British national anthems.
